Product Description Nexium® (esomeprazole magnesium) 40 mg delayed-release tablets is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) indicated for the short-term treatment (4–8 weeks) of erosive esophagitis due to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), healing of GERD-related esophageal damage, and maintenance of healing. It is also used to reduce the risk of gastric ulcers in patients on continuous NSAID therapy and for pathological hypersecretory conditions (e.g., Zollinger-Ellison syndrome).
