Product Description Januvia (Sitagliptin Phosphate 100 mg) is an oral dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor used to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It works by enhancing the body’s incretin system, increasing insulin release and decreasing glucagon levels in a glucose-dependent manner, which helps lower blood sugar without causing hypoglycemia when used alone. This film-coated tablet is taken once daily, with or without food, and is typically added to diet and exercise. Januvia can be used as monotherapy or in combination with metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin. It is not indicated for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
